Stars Girls Win 4th Tourney Of Season!

On July 25, the Perryville Stars Girls 12U fast pitch softball team won their fourth tournament of the season. The 2nd Annual Com-Bat for Freedom tournament was held in Arena Park in Cape Giraradeau on July 24-25.

The Stars, went undefeated for the weekend finishing 6-0. During elimination play,the Stars defeated the Semo Stars 5-2 in a hard fought contest. Then in the championship game, the Stars defeated the Mineral Area Mischief 8-0. The game was 1-0 thorugh 4 innings before the stars broke the game open.
